Route A: Downtown Commuting Made Easy
The MMVTA’s Route A schedule was designed with the commuter in mind. Route A runs 365 days a year and it has 40 total trips, during the work week between Pittsburgh and the Mon Valley along the Route 88 corridor. However, with ample service on Saturdays and two trips on Sundays the Route A schedule is a prime mode of transportation for shopping, sporting, and cultural events in downtown Pittsburgh.

There are many advantages of utilizing the Route A service. By riding Route A you will save money on parking and gas. You will avoid the aggravation of downtown traffic and all of our buses are equipped with high back seats for your comfort. Not only will your commute to and from the city of Pittsburgh be made easier but by riding the MMVTA you will help save energy and reduce air pollution.
