Transfers

Updated 2/11/15

Transfers are only available when a passenger is changing routes to complete a trip. Transfers will not be issued for the same route.  When boarding the bus, riders are asked to tell the driver that they are changing routes to complete their trip.

The passenger will pay the full fare for travel to their final destination and the driver will issue the rider a transfer. Local route operators will have a Pittsburgh (PGH) Transfer book and a Local (LOC) Transfer book to indicate to operators driving commuter routes if the transfer ticket is valid for travel all the way to Pittsburgh or just in the local zone through Route 88 and Connor Rd.
